Never Alone
I silently cry,
Only my deep intake of breaths are heard,
My cold rugged hands grab at the earth below me.
Moist, yet harsh,
My teeth ache, as the scent of blood fills the air,
My head turns to see the despair around me,
Everyone dying,
Screaming for death to come,
I laugh,
which echos for miles...
I run to the nearest screamer,
My eyes glowing,
Red and gold,
My true nature is revealed.
The women, no older then seventeen,
weeps before me.
staring into my eyes,
Which reflect nothing but truth.
Sad, alone, and hate
She sees and pities me.
She removes her long block locks from her neck,
Revealing her fair skinned neck.
Tears rushed down her face,
Green eyes, sad, yet warm.
My other half,
Took over,
Fangs elongated,
The other me plunges my fangs at the nape of her neck,
The girl makes a chocked noise,
As I suck her blood.
The taste divine,
Sweet, tart, but inciting.
Similar to sour patches.
My belly full, and happy,
I let go, and watch as she falls to the floor.
Her body convulsing,
Shaking, and moving,
I watch as her beautiful hair turn silver,
Nails turning sharp and long,
body becoming longer.
Everything becomes silent,
Her body still.
Her eyes open,
Revealing gold, and green eyes.
I hold my hand out to her,
She smiles,
Eyes kind and warm,
She grabs my hand, and I pull her up.
She stands,
Her fair skin,
Now pale.
She smiles at me,
Bright, playful, kind,
Tears fill my eyes,
Only one escapes,
Which she brushes away.
"I am Eve, and you are no longer alone."
She says to me.
She grabs my and in hers, and begins to fly,
I follow her.
We set off into the unknown,
leaving all the dead bodies,
We killed along the way.
I am no longer alone.
